It is extremely important to understand the basics of collision damage so that you are aware of these threats. One of the biggest misconceptions among drivers is that obvious damage is the only damage. In reality, the most severe damage to a vehicle is often completely unnoticeable at first glance.<\/p>\n<p>A perfect example of these hidden damages can be found in the misconfiguration of a vehicle&#8217;s fender or bumper. Fenders and bumpers are made to lessen the impact of a collision and their damages are often easy to see. However, further damage may exist behind the bumper which is less visible but equally important.<\/p>\n<p>Another type of damage that is often overlooked is a crack or chip in the windshield of a vehicle. Although it is easy to identify and most likely small, it can be very dangerous if ignored for long periods of time.
