Hello everyone, it’s Barry from Barry’s Auto Body and Collision Repair; today I’m going to tell you about two important services that we offer: headlight restoration and paint renewal.
Exposure to weather damages your car in many ways; rust and corrosion are just two examples. These weather conditions are especially damaging to a car’s headlights. When headlights oxidize it makes them lose their clarity and glimmer. Foggy lenses can also reduce the brightness of your lights which makes driving at night extremely dangerous. Purchasing new headlight lenses can be expensive and tedious, but our certified professionals in the shop always use the proper tools to save you time and money. Our headlight restoration service is offered at Barry’s Auto Body and Collision Repair for residents of Staten Island, New York City and Elizabeth, New Jersey areas.
Next on the list is the painting booth at Barry’s Auto Body and Collision Repair. Our shop has been providing top quality Paint Repair since 1986, in collaboration with most insurance companies we make sure that our customers pay as little out of pocket as possible. We paint our cars in an eco-friendly facility, with maximum air handling quality. The car is then washed before it is sanded and inspected for imperfections. Next the car is layered with 2 coats of acid etching primer and 2 coats of high build primer. Following the primer is another round of sanding and washing. The car is inspected one more time before use RTI Technology Perfect Air Filtration System and an Ingersoll Rand Rotary Compressor with Glasurit Water Based Paint. Lastly, the car is inspected one more time for color match.
