This new feature will allow users to swipe up on posts to view directions or book an Uber to the mentioned location/restaurant. Uber’s growth has given them the opportunity to explore the possibility of self-driving cars, which would drastically shake up the automotive industry. Facebook has also incorporated Uber into its platform with its “Request a Ride” feature on Facebook Messenger.
