Barry’s Auto Body Names Scott LoBaido, Community Member of the Month

Barry’s Auto Body shop Staten Island, is proud to name Scott LoBaido as our Community Member of the month for August, 2020.

Scott LoBaido has been creating art for the past twenty five years. His genre is Americana inspired, patriotic art. He is most famous for his various paintings of Old Glory – the American flag, which he has painted thousands of times in various mediums – most often on the sides of buildings and rooftops across the United States. Scott has donated his art to raise millions of dollars for veteran and police organizations. He is an activist who spends much of his time gaining attention for the military men and women who have served our country.

Scott’s artwork has been featured and discussed in countless articles, tv shows, and radio shows. He has made appearances on shows such as Fox’s Bill O’Reilly, Fox & Friends, and the NBC Nightly News, and was even named the “Person of the Week,” on ABC’s World News Tonight.

Today, Scott is once again at the forefront of public discussion due to his outspoken support of the NYPD and police officers around the country. In a time when police officers are being scrutinized by the public more than ever before, Scott has been a vocal ally of law enforcement. He recently painted a “Thin Blue Line” along the median of Hylan Boulevard outside the 122 precinct to demonstrate community support for our police which is why Barry’s Auto Body shop Staten Island is recognizing Scott as our community member of the month.

We here at Barry’s Auto Body shop Staten Island want to thank Scott LoBaido for being a voice of support for our country’s law enforcement officials and for being a great member of the Staten Island community!
